Just like me to wait until I'm back from Italy to start a blog that really would have come in handy IN Italy. Ah well - since I'm already planning another trip, I'll be well into the habit of using my blogspot by the time I go back to my favorite country in May'09.
So many memories and so many photos of all of the towns and cities in Puglia: Ostuni, Cisternino, Alberobello, Martina Franca, Lecce - now to get to work and capture some of the memories and the feelings on canvas. Ciao for now - back at you with a few seascapes and landscapes soon - I hope.
Trulli ....anyone thinking of travelling to Puglia - if at all possible plan a night or two at the Grand Hotel Masseria Santa Lucia, just outside of Ostuni. The hotel is amazing and the swimming grotto that lets you bask and bathe in the glorious Adriatic is not to be missed...
