Now that I've done this 'picture dump' - I will try to step out paintings and sketches in smaller 'clumps'.
Remember that painting is expression and we all express ourselves differently, uniquely - so draw, paint, and create to your heart's content!

Ready for NYEve 2010!

It's hard to believe that it's already into the double digits of December and that NYEve (my favorite holiday/celebration) is just weeks away. And only one week after that and I'll be headed south to Zihuatinjio, Mexico for 10 days of sun and 'fingers-crossed' more painting.
I've been busy taking an impressionistic course - a fun thing to do and an interesting 'style' to dabble in - all light and dark and color.
As well, the open sketch evenings are keeping my hands busy and my wrists supple - and my brain engaged.
Watch for a few photos of some of my work - a little Italy, a little impression, an oil rendition of Degas' Blue Dancer work in pastel - and other fun things that have been keeping me smiling and sailing through life. Ciao Amici

Hey fellow world travellers and Italy lovers. Sadly, I've had to postpone my next trip to Italia, as I'm headed to Hawaii for a couple of weeks instead. So it'll be sand, surf and sun (and bright vivid paints) instead.
