Golf day 2 - Two Eagles

Well, it was overcast and a bit drizzly as we ate breakfast, but seemed to be clearing by the time we headed to the course...this one in Westbank. And it seemed the rain had petered out, until we got to the first tee, when just because it could, it started to drizzle a bit. However, the jackets didn't stay on long and by the third hole, the drips had stopped and the day just got better and warmer and better as we progressed down the fairways.
One of the front 9 - taken because you can see Mission Hill on the far ridge. The clouds were still a bit menacing, but they were all bark...no bite!
One of the par 3 holes...pretty scenery and a fair amount of water.
We think this is how the course got it's name...those two eagles had been screaming and flying about since we rounded the corner...they settled in to enjoy whatever feast they were having and ignored us!
My best drive of the day... Hole 13 - 229 yds, and I'm less than 20 to the green...very happy with that shot!
The view looking back on the 18th from our patio table where we enjoyed a delightful lunch!

Supper at Mission Hill

After such a great day we ended it with a wonderful meal and some Mission Hill Estate Wine.
The view was grand, overlooking part of the vineyard and the lake.
Some of the many roses lining the walkway
The family crest.

First golf day...

A gorgeous day to golf this beautiful course...Black Mountain!
Beautiful weather and fabulously kept fairways and greens
The course's signature hole...the island green on 5!
The view leaving a successfully played hole...wink!
Even when you land just off the fairway...it's pretty!
The 19th!
Tomorrow...Two Eagles!

Golf in Kelowna

After we got out of the rain, the drive thru the mountains was great!

Lots of snow still to melt!
Monica and one of the rose bushes we walked past on our way to supper on the waterfront!
The view from our table...delightful and delish...
