2015 Polar Gold Cup

Beautiful weather and a great venue for this terrific event.
Rental cabins on site - amazing sleep six-ers
Both days, BIS was awarded to  a lovely Samoyed bitch - Cabaka's Diamond Diva
My choice for BOB Malamute the first days was a very impressive bitch - Czarik's Iczamaka
Over all Junior Handler was Silje Due - 17 with her Samoyed

The second day, I awarded Siberian BOB to Hay Je Ho Cold Play - a good moving and strong male that has competed in the Danske Polar Race (170 km) more than once. I brought small tokens of Canadiana - Inukshuk sculptures - and the small gift really struck an emotional cord with this owner! Very sweet!

I gave Samoyed BOB to Cakaba's Diamond Diva and Mardee also awarded her BIS the second day!
Saturday night the Club held a great banquet - so delicious.
And just to bring even a little more competition to the weekend, Participants were invited to bring their fav homemade dessert - Mardee and I got to judge ... so had to sample each and every one. We chose our fav four and came up with two common faves and then chose The One - a delightful Tiramasu made by Ann - compliments!!!
Wow!
On Sunday, when Mardee and my judging was all done, the Club brought in a local judge who hadn't been at the Show all weekend. This year it was a Chow Chow breeder. And she certainly arrived in style.
Our amazing stewards for the weekend: Ebbe Madsen, Kirsten Pedersen and Pia Hendriksen
