On to Viana - resting place of Cesare Borgia!!!

Up this morning and once on the road, Barb's first comment of the day was, "Well, that's the first time I slept with 10 men!" In our albergue last night, we were in a room for 12, and only Barb and I were of the female persuasion. We decided on a shorter day today, actually planned it that way as I wanted to walk the streets where Cesare walked - and we have. So only 19 km today, but a short one is turning out to be a very wise foot move.
A view of the Ruins, right outside our window.

JoAnne and Monica, he's right under this stone!
Cesare Borgia, amazing military mind, "face of an angel, eyes of the devil."

Cesare Borgia, son of Rodriquo Borgia, Pope Alexander VI.
We wandered about for almost an hour, asking where his statue was, only, at the end to realize that it was just down the street from where we are staying! But, worth it.

The street we are on, having our first, dare I say last, Sideria. Rather tastes like olive juice, hummmm!
